San Siro Stadium

The memorial piece of construction is of tremendous importance nowadays, but San Siro has never been that gigantic piece. It was there just to fit a crowd of ten thousand people on average back in 1926. But the reconstruction changed its space to have about fifty-five thousand people in 1939. The stadium came to the point to make a crowd record at the Italy-Brazil sports series and became Europe’s one of the spacious stadiums which hosted over a hundred thousand viewers during the mid-50s. The installation of seats despite expanded stands, the overall capacity of the stadium to adjust attendees had declined to eighty-five thousand in 1989.

The stadium has undergone one of the huge final redevelopment processes in 1989, for the World Cup to be held in 1990. While about eleven staircases have been installed which also played a part as the support for the roof simultaneously. The red trusses that had covered the stadium portended out of seats.

San Siro has been a venue of several huge events, began with the derby of Milano and terminated at hosting World Cup, Prestigious Internationals of Italy, and Champions League Final historically. It is ranked among the list of ten most attended venues by the largest sports club in Europe which indicates its never-ending popularity lately. Even Inter or AC Milan which both are believed to draw a mega crowd in Italy, can’t stuff the stadium to its capacity regularly.
